ALLIANCE NEWS AND NOTES!

X Marks The Spot, X Men Latest To Join FFA!

..The Florida Football Alliance is focused on bringing in stability and experience when adding new teams. The Jacksonville X Men are the latest of five new teams who fall under that category. “The Florida Football Alliance is proud to add the X Men to the fold. We are committed to bringing our fans the very best Minor League Football has to offer”… said FFA Commissioner Eddie L. Starling.

..The X Men, under new owner Kevin Grant are entering their first season. While the X Men are a new team, their leadership team has plenty of FFA experience as coaches. The X Men coaching staff previously coached the Jacksonville Knights to a 7-3 regular season record and a NFC conference championship appearance. The staff also coached the FFA NFC ALL Star Team to a convincing victory over the AFC. Due to FFA rules the X Men will play their first season in Hawthorne, FL.

.. The FFA is still in the process of adding new teams. There is one slot left for the 2011 season. The FFA would like to add another team in South East or South West Florida. Stay tuned for more announcements.

FROM NEAR DEFEAT TO THREE-PEAT

RAGE WIN IN DRAMATIC FASHION!!

..For the second year in a row the Florida Football Alliance Bowl gave the fans their money's worth. The Orlando Rage scored 21 points in a three minute span to take the lead after being down 27-13 with 10 minutes left in the game. The Bulls seemed to be in full control until they began to self destruct with penalties and three shanked punts that gave the Rage great field position during that three minute span.

..The Rage's will to win showed as they tapped into their champion mentality and caused a key turnover and eventually took the lead with less than a minute left in the fourth quarter. The Bulls stormed right back and tied the score with 10.1 seconds left in the game. The Rage at that point still had the momentum and all they needed was the ball in over time. As fate would have it the Rage won the toss and continued their wildcat offense which allowed Levi Raines to score on one of the longest runs in FFA history!

..Now their will be a heated debate as to which Alliance Bowl is the greatest in the FFA's short history. You would have had to witness both games to even be in the conversation. Now one ever thought we would top Alliance Bowl II but thanks to the Rage's comeback we will now have to argue that Alliance Bowl III is the greatest FFA game of all time. #5 Levi" Make It" Raines and #5 Johnny " The Show Johnson" together help make Alliance Bowl III a perfect 10!!!
